What courses are available?
The following individual courses will be offered weekly from Monday-Friday (9am-4:30pm) between June 20th and Sept 4th, 2009. Review individual courses for complete details on dates, description, duration, and to apply. 1- Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Server 2007 (5 days)
2- Configuring, Managing, and Maintaining Windows Server 2008 (5 days)
3- Microsoft Visual Basic .NET Programming (5 days)
4- Maintaining a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Database (5 days)
5- Business Analysis Boot Camp (4 days)
6- ITIL V3 Foundation Training and Certification (3.5 days)
7- Java Programming Language (5 days) Am I guaranteed acceptance?
Unfortunately not. There are approximately 150 seats available over 7 courses and 10 total deliveries. Acceptance will be based on eligibility and availability.
Can I take more than one course?
In an effort to reach out to as many people as possible, CTE Solutions has limited the offer to one free course per person.
Can I apply to more than one course?
Yes. You may apply to as many courses as you like. Be sure to check the prerequisites of each course. You will need to fill out a form for each course. When will I find out if I have been accepted into the program?
All applicants will be notified by June 16, 2009. Each applicant will have to confirm acceptance by June 22nd.
Why do you need proof of unemployment?
This offer is intended to help those recently affected by the economic downturn.
What kind of proof of unemployment do you require?
We require a reference from your previous employer.
What is the delivery format for these courses?
Microsoft, Business Analysis, and Java courses are instructor-led classroom based with a mix of lab and theory. ITIL courses are theory and focused discussion.
Are these courses certified?
All Microsoft courses are Microsoft official curriculum delivered my Microsoft Certified Trainers. Business Analysis training by Noble Inc. is IIBA Endorsed education. ITIL training by Ahead Technologies is Accredited by LCS and EXIN. The Java Programming training is written and delivered by Dr. Fima Erlikhman.
What cities is the training taking place in?
This training is currently being offered at CTE Solutions headquarters located at 11 Holland Ave in Ottawa , ON .
What proof will I get that I attended this training?
Each participant will be provided with an authorized certificate of completion of their respected course.
Am I guaranteed a job after completing the training?
No. There are no guarantees. We certainly feel that you will become more marketable after learning one of these sought after skills.
Is there any job placement?
There is no job placement available.
Do you cover any expenses?
All expenses (parking, travel, food etc) must be covered by the participant. CTE Solutions covers only the cost of the course. continental breakfast, drinks and snacks will be provided each day.
How do I register for an exam?
Microsoft is providing each student with a heavily discounted promotional exam code . You go to www.prometric.com to register for the exam. When the code is entered you will be able to purchase your exam for $25 US (regular price $125 US).
Why is CTE Solutions doing this?
Since CTE Solutions started 6 years ago its customers, partners and community have been very supportive and CTE Solutions wants to give back. This is our way of demonstrating our corporate responsibility towards the community. It allows us as a small locally owned company to make a big impact.
