CTE Solutions is a locally owned and operated technical training company, headquartered in Ottawa. This summer we are donating our time and resources to help those IT Professionals in our community who has been adversely affected by the economic downturn. Through this initiative CTE Solutions will be donating over a quarter of a million dollars in free training. We have built this program around skills currently in demand in the marketplace; giving our participants the sought after skills to assist with their marketability in today's competitive environment.
It is our goal to reach out to as many as a 150 people over an 8 week period. CTE Solutions is the preferred training vendor for many IT Professionals and this is our way to help support the community who has been so supportive of us over the years. This program allows our small company the opportunity to make a big impact in the lives of those affected by the downturn.
Microsoft has been instrumental in the development of this initiative. As a company, Microsoft is committed to supporting the community and they have demonstrated this commitment and their leadership in the area of corporate responsibility with their charitable donation to the program. Microsoft is donating over $20,000 of official Microsoft course content. Additionally, they have heavily discounted the respective certification exams and are offering exam vouchers at the nominal rate of $25 per participant to all of our students in the program.
Ahead Technology, our ITIL training partner, is a world renowned IT Service Management (ITSM) organization that specializes in the provision of Corporate based ITSM training solutions. They were immediately on board with the “Make Me Marketable” campaign and are generously donating courseware for the participants in the ITIL Foundation course.
Noble Inc., our BA training partner, is prominent provider of IT Business Analyst courseware and Business Analysis consulting services. They recognized the importance of this initiative and have demonstrated their commitment to the IT community with their generous donation of BA courseware for CTE Solutions' “Make Me Marketable” program. |
