This Boot Camp will prepare attendees for the MCITP: Server Administrator certification for Windows Server 2008. In this intensive 10-day Boot Camp you will learn the skills and knowledge needed to prepare you for the exams. You will get hands-on experience as well as practice sample questions and take simulated exam tests using MeasureUp.
What is the MCITP: Server Administrator?
An MCITP: Server Administrator certification demonstrates your leadership and problem-solving skills in working with Windows Server 2008. Server administrators are recognized among their peers and managers as leaders in the daily operations management of Windows Server 2008. Demonstrate and communicate your ability to administer Windows Server 2008 systems and increase your organization's return on technology investment by earning the MCITP: Server Administrator certification.

Audience
This course is intended for Microsoft IT Professionals with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing, managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
Prerequisites
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering Microsoft Windows 2003, Windows XP Professional, or Microsoft Vista.
- On-the-job experience in planning, implementing, managing, or supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2000 or 2003, including Active Directory and Network Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of networking, for example, TCP/IP and Domain Name System (DNS).
- Designed a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure
- Designed Security for a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network
